Visitors to the Rescue Centre

rescuecentrevisitorsThe Henderson Girls’ Brigade visited us at the Rescue Centre. The children wrote their own stories which were influenced by the Rescued Cat Books. Each child wrote a story about their own pet and if they did not have a pet guess what they did?

They wrote about cats, dogs, horses, guinea pigs, birds and the child with no pet went outside into the garden and chose to write about her pet snail.

The children read their stories to us all and showed us their beautiful drawings and photos. They had a great time interacting with the cats.

We also had a visit from Genevieve and Rachel who both have two cats of their own. We spent time playing with the cats and also fed the fish.

Here at Rescued Cats we help many people and organisations. Animals have such a calming influence – they are fun, loving and therapeutic.

Gloria loves to volunteer her time to visit the cats at the Centre. She loves to brush them and has great conversations with them. The cats love her and they never want to get down to let the next one to have his or her turn!

Thank you for coming to see us – please come again soon!
