This is Squeakie’s tree. Every year when the tree grows too big, we ‘top’ it. This year when the job is due to be done, Squeakie decides enough is enough. She climbs up ‘her’ tree and there she stays, until at last, everyone leaves. Proudly she walks away, really pleased with herself that she saved ‘her’ tree.
